By Richard Hill

21st-23rd January 2027

At the Lutterworth College

Wycliffe Drama Group is pleased to announce that its forthcoming annual pantomime will be ‘Aladdin’.

This will take place at the Lutterworth College between 21-23 January, including a matinee performance on the Saturday.

As previous winners of the ‘Award for Best Pantomime in Leicestershire and Rutland’, WDG will yet again be staging a traditional family pantomime guaranteed to delight an audience of all ages. Join with the citizens of old Peking as Aladdin seeks to do battle with the evil Abanazar, aided by an assortment of genies in order to win his fair princess. The large cast also includes everybody’s favourite dame, Widow Twankey and the lovable idiot that is Wishee Washee.

The panto is directed by Richard Hill and features a host of slapstick comedians who will have you in fits of hysterics. The show is enhanced by performers from the Helen Warrington School of Dance. And remember, panto tickets make excellent Christmas or New Year presents!

Tickets are priced at £14.50 with £13 for concessions and are available at Max Electrical in Lutterworth or by contacting the WDG box office on 07458 302158 or email boxoffice@wycliffedramagroup.co.uk
